Every year we focus on our anti-bullying work, beginning in November with anti-bullying week. We have renewed our anti-bullying charter and all pupils and staff have signed up to this. It states very clearly that bullying is wrong and we do not want it to happen at Dothill. If it does happen we will take action to make it stop. This year the pupils have all signed shapes with bells to help to remind us to ‘Make a noise about bullying!’.
It would be great if you could also sign up to our anti-bullying charter. The parents’ statements are below:
· We believe that bullying is wrong and we do not want it to happen at Dothill.
· We will not stand by and allow bullies to get away with it.
· We will give our children the chance to talk to us about their worries or concerns.
· We will report any concerns about bullying to school and work with them to deal with any issues.
