We have been told by Telford and Wrekin Catering that some of the ingredients in our lunches have changed and this may impact on children who have allergies.
Mrs Rankin-McCabe has contacted all parents of children with known allergies to ensure that they are making informed decisions about what their child eats. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this then please contact Mrs Rankin-McCabe

Children are able to select a packed lunch instead of their usual school dinner. To do so, please complete the form below and return to the kitchen or school office by 10am on the Wednesday of the week before it is required. Thank you.
Dinner Money Arrears
As you know, we operate a zero tolerance on meal arrears as some quite substantial overspends have built up on some of the children’s accounts in previous years.
On the first day that children choose a lunch and do not have enough credit on their account, our kitchen team will let them have their meal, thus leaving arrears between 0.01p and £2.30. The parent/carer will get a letter from the cook informing them of the debt so they are aware and can rectify the situation straight away. They should also get an email from the cook warning of a low balance. If the arrears are not cleared, and if the children do not bring in a packed lunch from home, the kitchen team will give them an emergency meal (a cheese sandwich, fruit and/or a yoghurt) at lunchtime if they come for a school meal. This will be chargeable.
In the past, parents/carers have also been rung by the office if their child’s account is in debt and the child has ordered a dinner that day. In the future, this will not happen if your child’s account is in debt. In that case, your child will automatically get an emergency meal (cheese sandwich, fruit and/or yoghurt).
It is important that parents/carers update the school with any changes to their main email account as that is how the kitchen send reminders out re: low credit etc.
Thank you for your support and cooperation with this matter.
General Reminders and Updates

£2.30 from 1st April 2019.
Updated Sandwich Order Form - 7th March 2019
We have made some minor amendments to the sandwich order form, as follows:
The updated form is below in the sandwich option information section.
Online Catering Payment System - 11/12/18 update
Please note the Telford & Wrekin Council catering website has been updated recently and looks quite different. The schools are not in alphabetical order so you will need to scroll down to find Dothill. You may need to set up an account, in which case please follow the instructions on the website. If you are asked for the school number please enter 3368 (for Dothill). The system allows for the details to be stored once these have been entered and you can pay for other Telford and Wrekin items too.
2018-19 Vegetarian menu update - 17 09 18
Following feedback from both children and parents we have made a couple of minor changes to our vegetarian menu. We’ve replaced the Quorn sausages with vegetable sausages on Mondays (week 1), we’ve added macaroni cheese alongside the Quorn pasta bake on Tuesdays in week 3, and on Wednesdays in week 3, we also serve cauliflower cheese, along with the usual Quorn parcels. All children registered for the vegetarian menu will be able to choose these meals.
