Children in Need 2023
Date: 17 Nov 2023
We are raising money to help Children in Need on Friday 17th November.
School parliament have organised a vote and the children have chosen to wear colourful clothes on this day. Children can come to school dressed in any bright and colourful clothes that are safe and respectful. This could be a bright red dress, a yellow and blue football shirt or a rainbow headband – get creative!
Please ensure your child wears suitable footwear for playing outside.
Children in need have linked with ParentPay which means that you can make your donation through ParentPay by clicking on the link below. We would ask that everyone who wears colourful clothes donates a £1 through ParentPay to Children in Need. We have around 360 children at Dothill at the moment. It would be great if we could raise £360 for children less fortunate than our own. You can obviously donate more than £1 if you are able. All the money raised will go to Children in Need.

Please help the children to understand that the reason they are wearing colourful clothes is in order to raise money for Children in Need. Please show them that you have donated on ParentPay so they can see that their actions have had positive consequences. Supporting charities is a great way for the children to be demonstrating our Dothill values of kindness, responsibility, fairness and cooperation.
Thanks for your support.
Yours sincerely,
Dothill School Parliament
