Dothill Primary School

This term, rather than splitting up into mixed groups, we will be celebrating Dojo afternoon as a whole class, so that we can celebrate together as a team and reflect on our achievements together. Each class will hold their Dojo afternoon on one afternoon before the end of term. Each class teacher will determine the most suitable reward activity for their class.

To ensure children’s individual efforts are recognised, all children will bring home a certificate to demonstrate which belt they have been awarded. This is based on the number of Dojo points they have collected this term.  The belts go in the following order:

White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, Brown, Red and finally, Black belt.

I hope you will use this opportunity, when they bring their Dojo belt certificate home, to reinforce how proud we all are of how kind, caring and hardworking our school community is – and particularly the part your child has played in making Dothill Ready, Respectful and Safe.
